Do christian entrepreneurs really make a difference in today’s world? Are they living up to God’s standard of being full of integrity, moral values, and following His path? Do they do everything perfectly according to His will? Do they dress perfectly, talk appropriately at all times, and love their brothers and sisters every single moment of every day?
Le’s be real folks. None of us are perfect. We live in a world where it can be extremely difficult at times to live according to God’s will. But, does that mean that we should accept these excuses as reality and live the way that we want? Absolutely not. Whether we like it or not, Christians are held to a different standard. In the business world, being a Christian can really put a major target on your back.
Money is always the hot button among Christians that want to become entrepreneurs isn’t it? You’ll hear friends and family say things behind their backs like “Money is evil,” “Just be happy with what God gave you,” “God and business just don’t mix,” or “If it’s meant to be then God will make it happen.” So is this really true? Are you supposed to sit back and wait for God to make it happen, or do you need to take action?
Does God really not want there to be successful Christian entrepreneurs? That’s absolute nonsense. Of course He does. Remember, He uses people to carryout His will. So, if someone becomes a successful entrepreneur then He can use the fruits of their labor to glorify His name.
It all boils down to what’s in a persons heart. Are they looking to become successful for the money and the fame to glorify their own name? Or, are they looking for the money and the fame to glorify His name? There’s a big difference between these two questions. In the first case money and fame would be used to do evil but in the second case money and fame would be used to glorify God’s name. Remember, it’s the “Love” of money that’s the root of all evil. Money itself isn’t evil.
If you’re looking to become an entrepreneur and want to find out the company that I personally endorse visit MLSP.
Our world needs rich people, but more importantly we need rich people that have strong moral values that can shine a light into our world of darkness. Take someone like Dani Johnson for instance. She’s an incredibly successful Christian entrepreneur that is completely open about her faith. Not only is she wealthy but she’s also able to evangelize to millions of people around the world. Just think about all of the good that she’s doing for our world and money has given her the ability to travel the world preaching God’s Word. But, the cool part is that she became successful in business first and used that business vehicle to be able to minister to people.
What if Dani Johnson decided to let friends and family steal her dream? What if she thought that money was evil or business and Christianity didn’t mix? We would be missing one of the great Christian entrepreneurs of our lifetime.
Let’s take a look at some other people that may not be so open about their faith but do a tremendous amount of good for our world. I don’t know if Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are Christian entrepreneurs but I will tell you this much, those men do a tremendous amount of good for our world. They’ve given billions of their fortunes back to help our world.
Then you have rich Christian entrepreneurs, actors, and athletes that get caught up in this world and like all of us make mistakes. They may get caught making racial slurs, become alcoholics or drug addicts, or get caught cheating on their spouses.
Here’s where the problems with religion, business, and fame come into play. Because Christians are called to be examples in this world, people tend to forget that Christians are also human beings. So, it’s hard for a lot of people to hear a Christian preaching about God one moment then getting caught doing something that’s against God’s will the next. It’s important to remember that just because they make mistakes doesn’t mean that they are any less Christian. “Let he who is sinless cast the first stone.”
It’s important to realize that you don’t have to be rich to be an effective Christian entrepreneur. If you’re a network marketer and are helping others to build a network marketing organization, then you too have a chance to make a difference. I can’t tell you how many incredible Christian entrepreneurs that I’ve met in the network marketing industry. A lot of the Christian entrepreneurs that I’ve met in the network marketing industry have changed the lives of countless people and these people weren’t necessarily the top producers in their organizations either.
If you’re desire is to join the elite group of Christian entrepreneurs that are making a difference in our world then the key to success is “Do Unto Others.”
