Lots of people are getting into network marketing because of the mlm compensation plans and how much money they can make. Have you been considering getting into the MLM business? It’s critical that you check out the company’s compensation plans before making a decision, as many of these plans differ.
I am going to assume that you have looked around and found an organization that you have an interest in. You have done your due diligence and looked around on the web and weighed all of the information that you’ve found.
Often grumbles come from distributors who did not make any cash and maybe they were misled into believing an MLM business was easy. Well it’s not. It takes hard work!
One thing people haven’t been told about when they join the industry are the mlm compensation plans.
Did you even bother asking? And if you did, was the answer so complex that you still don’t understand it?
Hear this. Although many MLM compensation plans have fancy names, they are not too tricky to understand. You should be making a number of notes anyhow, not simply just about the mlm compensation plans. You should ideally have a list of your ambitions and a business plan already down on paper.
Don’t get all heated up about what these mlm compensation plans are called. The difference between an Australian One Up structure plan and a matrix or a binary plan is really not that important. It’s not what matters. The issue is, are other folks in this business making the type of money that you would like to make yourself? If they are then obviously the compensation plan is working for them so you have the perfect opportunity to get in and build up your very own business.
One thing to take a look at is what the company pays and if there is a sign up bonus.
Say as an example it costs $200 to join. Are you likely to get an sign up bonus of maybe $20? It’s good and it’s a bonus but there are other companies that offer a $50 bonus on the $200 sign up.
It’s a fact that without proper marketing and promotion you and your team are going to run out of people to approach with your opportunity, so marketing is going to be necessary. Advertising isn’t free. Therefore the bigger the bonuses the company offers the more money you can put away for your marketing budget.
But if you don’t make any money signing folk ups, how will you afford to continue to market and promote your business?
So commissions earned will make or break your business.
You’ve probably heard of heavy hitters. These are the people that join the business, are extraordinarily successful, and built their businesses fast. Are you going to be paid for their efforts as well?
That’s important to find out when investigating mlm compensation plans.
Bottom line: Select 2 or 3 companies that you are considering and compare their mlm compensation plans side-by-side as if you are actually building a business. Pencil out the number and determine which best matches the revenue levels you wish to achieve.
